AI Statement
As this timeline continues, it’s becoming more and more important for us to make it clear where we stand in regards to Artificial Intelligence (AI). We, as a brand, Soft Punk Inc., responsible for both Soft Punk Slime and STAY SOFT, will never employ AI and are actively anti-AI. We also prohibit the use of our content to train AI. Why is it important for us to make this statement? As working class consumers are priced out of the personal computer market, oppressed communities are harmed by the presence of datacenters while the earth pays the ultimate price. Finally, as AI continues to take jobs and destroy art, we do not feel that it meets any ethical standards that are the baseline for our company.
A non-comprehensive list of things we do not use, allow, or otherwise condone in relation to running or participating with Soft Punk Inc.:
-Product photography and editing
-Google AI results
-AI assisted editing tools
-Any generative AI
-Amazon’s BuyForMe program
-Any LLMs (Language Learning Modules) including ChatGPT
-Text/image/audio tasks
-Website construction
-Emails/customer service
-Marketing campaigns/research
-Chatbots/virtual assistants
-Supply chain optimization
-Content creation
-Video editing

We reserve the right to add programs and tools to this list as necessary and without notice.
